How Is It Used?
This training module should be used to provide a better understanding of how and why the State Board of Education established the Healthy Active Children Policy, what the policy requires of k-8 North Carolina public schools and how the policy is monitored and enforced. The module will help administrators, teachers, local boards of education, SHAC’s and other stakeholders ensure student in their schools are healthy and better able to learn.
